- In the interpersonal speaking section, always answer the specific question asked and elaborate, rather than giving one-word answers.
- Use high-level transitional phrases (e.g., 'por otro lado', 'no cabe duda que', 'a pesar de que') to elevate your writing and speaking.
- In the persuasive essay, clearly cite the sources usando phrases like 'Según la fuente escrita...' or 'Como afirma el locutor en el audio...'.
- Familiarize yourself with the cultural products, practices, and perspectives of various specific Spanish-speaking countries, not just a generic 'Hispanic culture'.
