For AP Drawing Selected Works, five works are submitted with written evidence for each identifying materials, processes, and ideas, each response limited to roughly 100 characters. A student submits a 76 by 56 centimeter drawing on toned gray paper, worked in compressed charcoal and white chalk, in which a figure is described almost entirely by erasure into a laid charcoal ground.

Write a materials response within the character limit.
