3 ptsSHORT-ANSWER QUESTION. Read the description of the source. Source — final communiqué of the Asian-African Conference, Bandung, Indonesia, April 1955. The conference brought together representatives of twenty-nine newly independent and soon-to-be-independent states of Asia and Africa, including India, China, Egypt, Indonesia, and Ghana's future leadership. The communiqué declares colonialism in all its manifestations an evil to be brought to an end, affirms respect for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of all nations and the equality of all races and nations large and small, calls for economic and cultural cooperation among the participants, and urges the settlement of disputes by peaceful means and abstention from arrangements serving the particular interests of the great powers.
