What examiners penalize here

• For Lazarillo, tie technique to theme in one sentence: the **first-person pícaro** plus **irony** produces **social satire**. If a prompt asks how the work builds meaning, naming that chain — narration → irony → critique of honor and the clergy — earns analytical credit.
• When a poem repeats a word or phrase, name the device (anaphora) **and** its effect. Credit comes from the second half: here the repetition of "Los dos" does not just sound emphatic — it performs the theme of union that the whole poem drives toward.
